@EsCurve Look, Europe has at least as many crooks in high places as the US and yet we get along just fine without guns and are not sliding into dictatorships. (Germany slided into Nazism with the help of armed militia.) Our rights are just as protected as yours are and our economies are generally in a slightly less sore state than yours. So, are you telling me that Americans as a people are too incompetent in comparison to Europe, to achieve the same level of civil rights without guns?
